The Bucket List

At the age of twelve my friends and I used to say 'I bet when we are like 22 we will be training dolphins and living togther in an awesome flat with really hot fiances'. I mean, at the time that was completely and utterly logical - twenty-two was pretty much the oldest we could imagine ourselves and why wouldn't our lives be completely in control by then?!
Well, at the start of the week I turned twenty-two and I am sad to say I have do not have the dream boat man, I have swam with dolphins...when I was fourteen and I do live with my friends but sadly it is not the penthouse suite that I always imagined - although for a student house it is pretty classy.
So, having come out of the dream of a twelve year old I have decided that a way of living life to the full - is to create a bucket list. So what follows are the 22 things I want to have completed by the time I am 25. Perhaps in three years I will look back and think 'how silly and naive' but for now I think that these might just maintain some happiness.

1. Learn to surf (not body board, SURF).

2. Know how to make a cake - from memory.

3. Tell that secret (sorry for the mystery, but obviously

4. Learn to sail.

5. Practise Yoga for more than six months.

6. Go Back to Uganda.

7. Get a Tattoo.

8. Invent an app.

9. Learn to speak Sign Language.

10. Get permission and money for the Uganda House.

11. Travel for at least 6months.

12. Create and keep an address book.

13. Swim in the Dead Sea.

14. Learn how to play chess (and remember).

15. Raise more than £5000 for Headlines.

16. Beat Gus in a running race.

17. Live on a beach for a week.

18. Walk into an airport and say 'put me on the next available flight' and travel to where ever I am told.

19. Dance with Ned.

20. Hit bulls-eye on a darts board.

21. Be Kind.

22. Be Happy even when I am unhappy.
